Merchant Account Credentials

Each approved merchant account receives an auto-generated set of credentials, which are securely stored. This section explains how merchants can manage these credentials after account setup.

Steps to Retrieve Your API Key as a Merchant

Access Your Merchant Dashboard

  • Begin by logging into your dedicated merchant dashboard using your registered credentials
  • For security purposes, you will be prompted to authenticate your identity
  • Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered email or mobile number to proceed
  • Once logged in, locate and select the "Settings" option in the dashboard's main menu

Access the API and Keys Management Panel

  • Within the Settings menu, browse to find the "API and Keys" subsection
  • Click on this option to open the API management interface, where you can view and control your API credentials

Whitelist Your IP Address for Secure Access

  • Inside the API and Keys section, locate and select the "Whitelist IP" tab or button
  • This is a critical security step to ensure only authorized IP addresses can access your API
  • Carefully enter the IP address you wish to whitelist in the provided field
  • Double-check the IP for accuracy to avoid connectivity issues
  • Confirm your entry by clicking the "Save" or "Update" button
  • The system will validate and store your IP, enabling secure API interactions from this address

Retrieve and Secure Your API Key

  • After whitelisting your IP, return to the main API and Keys section
  • Your unique API key will be displayed here (often masked for security)
  • Click the "Reveal" or "Copy" button to access the full key
  • Store this key securely, as it grants access to your account's API functionalities

Important Notes

  • For security reasons, never share your API key or OTP with unauthorized parties
  • If you encounter issues, use the dashboard's "Help" or "Support" section for guidance
