Each approved merchant account receives an auto-generated set of credentials, which are securely stored. This section explains how merchants can manage these credentials after account setup.
Steps to Retrieve Your API Key as a Merchant
Access Your Merchant Dashboard
- Begin by logging into your dedicated merchant dashboard using your registered credentials
- For security purposes, you will be prompted to authenticate your identity
- Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered email or mobile number to proceed
Navigate to the Settings Section
- Once logged in, locate and select the "Settings" option in the dashboard's main menu
Access the API and Keys Management Panel
- Within the Settings menu, browse to find the "API and Keys" subsection
- Click on this option to open the API management interface, where you can view and control your API credentials
Whitelist Your IP Address for Secure Access
- Inside the API and Keys section, locate and select the "Whitelist IP" tab or button
- This is a critical security step to ensure only authorized IP addresses can access your API
- Carefully enter the IP address you wish to whitelist in the provided field
- Double-check the IP for accuracy to avoid connectivity issues
- Confirm your entry by clicking the "Save" or "Update" button
- The system will validate and store your IP, enabling secure API interactions from this address
Retrieve and Secure Your API Key
- After whitelisting your IP, return to the main API and Keys section
- Your unique API key will be displayed here (often masked for security)
- Click the "Reveal" or "Copy" button to access the full key
- Store this key securely, as it grants access to your account's API functionalities
Important Notes
- For security reasons, never share your API key or OTP with unauthorized parties
- If you encounter issues, use the dashboard's "Help" or "Support" section for guidance
